We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Duties
Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, pots, pans, and utensils efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area by regularly cleaning countertops, sinks, and floors.
Sort and stack clean dishes in designated areas for easy access by kitchen staff.
Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, supporting cooks and other kitchen staff.
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards regarding food handling and sanitation.
Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies are low.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods.
Requirements
Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory.
Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
Must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds).
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
