We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our dynamic kitchen team. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff in providing exceptional dining experiences in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment.
Responsibilities
Wash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using appropriate cleaning methods.
Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
Assist in food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff.
Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Dispose of waste properly and keep the kitchen area organized and clean.
Skills
Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness.
Team player with good communication skills to assist cooks and other kitchen staff.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
