We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly washed and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests.
Duties
Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, countertops, and food preparation areas.
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including peeling vegetables and preparing ingredients.
Properly handle and store food items according to safety standards to prevent cross-contamination.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and efficient workflow during peak hours.
Follow all health and safety regulations in food handling and sanitation practices.
Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen supervisor promptly.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel environment is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with kitchen operations and food service practices is a plus.
Skills in cleaning, food preparation, cooking, and serving are advantageous.
A strong commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen is essential.
