We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Wash, rinse, and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors regularly. Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, including washing vegetables and preparing ingredients for cooking. Organize and restock clean dishes and utensils in designated areas to ensure efficiency during service. Dispose of waste properly and ensure that garbage bins are emptied regularly. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and support during peak hours.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of basic food handling practices is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Willingness to learn and assist with various kitchen tasks as needed. A passion for hospitality and providing excellent service is essential.
