Job Description

Are you passionate about keeping things spotless and organized? We're seeking a dedicated Dish Steward to support our culinary and serving teams by ensuring all dishware, utensils, and kitchen equipment are impeccably clean and ready for service.

Key Responsibilities:

Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans using dishwasher or by hand. Place dishes in storage area. Scour pots and pans, and clean silverware. Support culinary and serving teams by ensuring a clean and organized kitchen environment. Operate industrial dishwashing machines and other cleaning equipment safely. Adhere to WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) guidelines for chemical handling. Wear appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards promptly. Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and chemicals. Receive and unload delivery orders for kitchen when needed.

Qualifications:

Available to work mornings, midday, night shifts and weekends. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. Restaurant or customer service experience preferred. Physically able to stand, bend, and lift throughout an 8-hour shift. Working knowledge of sanitation procedures preferred. Experience with industrial kitchen equipment and sanitation procedures preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Team-oriented attitude with a proactive work ethic. This position is a temporary 3 month long position.
