OverviewThe Employee Health, Safety and Wellness team has a Disability Health Manager opportunity available for you to support our employees who need to be away from work for health reasons and/or require workplace accommodations due to both occupational and non-occupational illness or injury.   • Manage all health-related absences from work and the accommodation process for employees.
  • Make timely decisions on eligibility and entitlement and ensure the proper documentation.
  • Provide medical case management and ongoing support and guidance to employees while on medical leave and/or in need of accommodation
  • Facilitate independent medical examinations and other health evaluations and liaise with insurance providers.
  • Communicate with various stakeholders including employees, managers, People and Culture partners, and the Union to establish professional relationships and to engage in a collaborative approach to assist in recovery and a safe and timely RTW.

Your background and experience
  • A degree in a related discipline
  • A minimum of five years of experience in human resources/labour relations, disability management, rehabilitation, and/or return to work practices.
