Job Description


Garibaldi Glass is looking for a motivated, innovative, and collaborative Director/VP Sales & Marketing to join our team. The Director/VP Sales & Marketing reports to the CEO and works closely with the CFO, serving as a key member of the executive team.

The Director/VP Sales & Marketing is responsible to the CEO to meet or exceed all Sales & Marketing goals and results, including leadership, growth and KPI achievement of the outside, inside Sales teams, and estimators across Canada & USA, and managing the Marketing performance and results of internal and outsourced marketing resources.

Leadership growth and development of the Sales & Marketing team, combined with commitment to customer excellence, and a passion for supporting team-driven results, are three essential ingredients for success in this role as Director/VP Sales & Marketing.

Key Responsibilities

(80% Sales Focus, 20% Marketing Focus)

  • The Director/VP Sales & Marketing is a senior executive responsible for leading the company\xe2\x80\x99s Sales team (Outside, Inside Sales, and Estimating) and developing sales strategies to drive profitable revenue growth. Working with the CEO, this leader will develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company\xe2\x80\x99s overall business objectives, including identifying target markets, developing pricing strategies, creating sales tactics for promoting the company\xe2\x80\x99s products and services, and leading the company\xe2\x80\x99s Sales team to profitable growth.
  • To ensure customer-focused leadership, the Director/VP Sales & Marketing will routinely make joint sales calls, client visits, and host events with the sales team and partners, to support their sales and product development efforts.
  • Proven experience in strategic marketing is crucial in this role, along with implementation of a CRM-Client Relationship Management system, strengthening its global partnership opportunities, product innovation and deepening its market analysis and competitive intelligence.
Required Skills
  • Years of experience: 7 years of sales management experience within Construction and/or Building Products
  • University/College Education with proven communication skills, knowledgeable in Business Administration, Sales, and Marketing
  • Technical Sales & Marketing leadership experience, ideally in Construction or General Contractors, Building Products and/or Architecture industry.
  • Experienced in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or Communications preferred.
  • Deep understanding of lead generation, digital marketing, thought leadership, content generation, PR, product management, design, and marketing operations.
  • Ability to grow, develop and motivate a team within changing markets
