These may include but not limited to Third-party Investment Advisors, Family Offices, Institutional Clients and other qualified investors. Travel will be required within Canada at times to ensure client coverage. Be prepared to cross-train when the time arises, as directed by management. Share any developed skills, knowledge, ideas with management and other members of the Wealth Solutions Group. On your own initiative, develop product knowledge through directed or self-directed study.Who You AreYou have attained an Undergraduate or Masters degree in Commerce, Finance or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) preferred, with at least 5 years of similar or relevant business experience. Completion of the Canadian Securities Course and Conduct & Practice Handbook required with a CFA designation (or progress towards) considered an asset.You have relevant industry experience. A passion for understanding financial markets is a must, including a solid understanding of the current market environment. Established relationships with CIRO licensed investment advisors at full-service brokerages (i.e., CIBC Wood Gundy, RBC DS, etc.) is a pre-requisite. Understanding of private markets and structured notes is a plus. Ability to very quickly acquire knowledge, to demonstrate competence, add value to transactions and client relationships.You have excellent communication skills. Excellent communication and written skills in English. A secondary language is considered an asset. Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills required in order to develop, manage and leverage relationships with clients, and internal and/or external business partners. Strong presentation skills, sufficient to clearly articulate conceptual information/ideas on issues involving extensive interpretation and opinion.You know that details matter.
