Compensation Range $10,429.92 - $16,272.67 CAD Monthly
The Compensation Range is the span between the minimum and maximum base salary for a position. The midpoint of the range is approximately halfway between the minimum and the maximum and represents an employee that possesses full job knowledge, qualifications and experience for the position. In the normal course, employees will be hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the salary range for a job.

Summary
Responsible for strategic and organizational planning, as well as oversight of the daily activities of UBC Press, the Director provides inspiring and mission-driven leadership. A primary remit is ensuring that works of scholarship published under the UBC Press imprint meet a high threshold for intellectual merit and integrity, and that the production, promotion, and distribution of these works is made financially feasible through the prudent and effective alignment of all pursuits undertaken by the Press.
Organizational Status
The Director reports to the Associate Vice-President, Research and Innovation. The Director sits as an ex-officio non-voting member of the UBC Press Publications Board.
