Career Opportunity
We are seeking to hire an experienced financial leader as Director, Treasury Services for a 12-month temporary opportunity in our Finance Department.
What You Will Do
You will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and effective management, oversight and delivery of a large portfolio encompassing banking, cash management, accounts payable and receivable, insurance, risk management, tax remittances, customs clearances, freight forwarding of all imports and exports, and contract administration that ensure the TTC's treasury requirements and controls, regulatory compliance and risk management needs are met.
Oversee cash flow forecasting and cash management to ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital funding requirements of the TTC.
Your responsibilities will include directing the corporate risk management insurance program that protects the financial and physical assets of the TTC and minimizes the adverse financial and reputational effects of any liability or loss associated with claims arising from day-to-day operations and/or major construction projects
Oversee the management and performance of all business functions and procedures for the Accounts Receivable section (invoicing, credit granting, collection process and cash application process) and Accounts Payable section (invoice verification and payment processing)
As the Director, Treasury Services you will also be accountable for planning, directing and overseeing all activities of the Treasury Services section, including continuously reviewing and improving corporate policies, practices and processes that enhance systematic and efficiency service delivery of the functions to maximize operational and financial performance and minimize risk. As well, maintain TTC's standing as a reputable business partner with external parties.
