We are looking for a Director, Treasury to join our team Corporate Finance team in Calgary, AB. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for developing strategies and planning with senior executives to set and achieve capital structure targets. What you will do: Mortgage Financing

• Generate strategies and planning for new financing including cost management of renewal activities and interest costs
• Oversee the management of Northview’s mortgage portfolio including compliance, initiation, and renewal process
• Oversee the analysis and underwriting of Northview’s real estate portfolio for the purpose of refinancing
• Manage application processes and relationship with CMHC
• Engage and manage third-party reporting (Appraisals, BCA, ESA & QS reports) assessing reports and resolution of issues

• Manage credit facility covenants and other credit facility requirements including generating the quarterly compliance certificates
• Renew and replace credit facilities as required
• Manage draws and repayment process.

• Participate in the acquisition, development, and disposition of assets
• Oversee the annual Treasury budgeting process and tracking of all financing related costs
• Assist financial reporting team with any financing related information requests as part of the quarterly reporting cycle
• Manage and forecast liquidity requirements including assisting with periodic Treasury related functions including wire transfers, EFT’s, bank transfers, stop payments etc.
• Oversee annual loan review process with lenders and CMHC
• Administer the land lease program
• Other duties as needed/required

• Undergraduate Degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• CFA or CFA candidate an asset
• Previous real estate or mortgage finance experience a strong asset
• Strong relationship management skills with an ability to align various parties to Northview’s goals
• A critical thinker, finding alternative approaches to achieve Northview’s goals
• Driven to succeed
• Strong organizational and time management skills meeting tight timelines
• Previous supervisory experience, preferably in residential real estate/property management
