Higher Logic is seeking a strategic Human Resources Business Partner to support our Product, Engineering and Shared Services (Finance/Legal/IT) teams. Our new teammate will have the experience and knowledge to understand business priorities and translate them into the highest impact work. The role is responsible for developing and nurturing a culture of performance, inclusion and retention by creating strategies that facilitate organization and leadership development efforts, pro-actively coaching people leaders and partnering with employees on all employee matters. This strategic partner will have proven experience helping business leaders look around corners with data-driven recommendations that address root causes of issues to improve performance, retention, and the overall employee experience. We are seeking a high-impact individual contributor with subject matter expertise who owns both the strategy and execution of organizational talent management, organizational effectiveness and employee engagement to add to our team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic business partner to Higher Logic\xe2\x80\x99s People and Business Leaders to ensure our people strategies support business needs. Design programs to enable the best employee experience. Build capacity in our People Leaders utilizing Higher Logic\xe2\x80\x99s framework for People Leader Competencies. Create thoughtful leaders who know how to assess and manage current and future talent in order to meet the needs of the business. Pro-actively and regularly meet with all People Leaders to reinforce practical application of the People Leader Competencies. Discuss employee performance, growth and development and team performance. Design and implement HR strategic plans, policies, programs, and tools in partnership with business leaders to build and enhance performance and productivity and organizational capability while adding value to the business and the employees. Enhance employee relations. Ensure policies and processes, including for all stages of performance management, are strong and well understood. Work closely with people leaders and employees to build morale, and increase productivity, engagement and retention. Lead projects as the functional lead for HR on strategic people programs such as performance management and talent planning. Review and revise HR policies to promote inclusion for staff of all identities and to meet the changing needs of the future of work. Build in equity checks supported by data and evaluated by diverse perspectives Partner closely with Talent and People Ops teams to ensure effective collaboration and processes that support strong execution and service for employees Build strong relationships cross-functionally across departments in order to communicate and align HR strategy to meet business needs SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Ten (10) or more years of progressive HR experience, with at least five (5) years in a growth SaaS environment. Presence and self-awareness to serve in a leadership role for a diverse staff, setting the tone for an inclusive, and welcoming workplace culture Strong analytical skills and technical acumen, including the ability to gather, organize, develop, and present data and metrics to effect continual improvements in aligning around business objectives, achieving results and employee growth and development. Solutions focused and be comfortable working in an environment which demands strong deliverables along with the ability to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions Ability to develop others through coaching, feedback, and professional development Ability to build trusting relationships, resolve conflicts and influence at all levels of the organization, including in cases without direct authority Have strong project and time management skills, including organizing, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making; display the ability to flex to changing demands and manage multiple priorities. Have a customer-focused mindset, well-developed interpersonal skills, and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders and interact effectively cross-functionally.
