JOB PURPOSE: McCain is on a digital transformation journey and we are seeking a knowledgeable, collaborative, and trail-blazing individual to help realize and implement our vision for our Global Sales and Operations, Supply Chain Planning processes. The primary purpose of this technology leadership role is to own how Supply Chain Planning applications will enable global business performance, execution standards, and grow top and bottom line growth.

This technology role is responsible for driving how supply and demand information, analysis and planning processes, can be improved leveraging enterprise application functionalities including data strategies/technology. This role will be the Supply Chain Technology Planning Lead shaping the enterprise-wide technology strategy in Supply Chain, partnering with global and regional technology teams. The role will set and own the global standard for transforming supply chain processes into data and subsequently, into business performance information for decision-making.

In this role, the incumbent will serve as Supply Chain Technology Leader and Partner to both Global and Regional Supply Chain functions to implement processes through various technologies, and recommend action plans to maximize the supply chain efficiency and customer satisfaction.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be able to communicate persuasively, instill accountability in self and others, leverage as a leader, drive an increase in collaborative behavior and team participation with all stakeholders while identifying opportunities to drive sales and profitability, and provide supply chain understanding and functional direction to our business
  • Be a thought leader and collaborative partner in the Supply Chain Planning space, coordinating across team members including Product Owners, Portfolio Architects, and 3rd parties to ensure delivery of the transformation roadmap by managing overall timelines, budgets, milestones, deliverables and prioritization
  • Set strategy and a multi-roadmap for how Supply Chain Planning Applications, Data, and Analytics will be leveraged by Global and Regional teams at McCain to enable rich supply chain information
  • Implement the Supply Planning and Demand Planning technology application to standardize processes throughout McCain
  • Drives, with enterprise architecture, the target state technology architecture, and business case for acquisition of new technologies including IoT, and foundational systems
  • Guide the continuous improvement of the Supply Chain Planning tool, while creating its multi-year roadmap with key stakeholders
  • Elevate and promote the use of SAP ERP, Management Reporting, Supply Chain Planning Tools, and Analytics with global and regional teams and super users, including C-level executives
  • Work in partnership with Supply Chain business teams, Technology, and leadership teams locally and globally.
  • Overall vendor management and relationship management with third parties supporting Supply Chain Planning strategy
KEY PRIORITIES:
  • Drive continuous improvement strategy for Supply Chain Planning to modernize how supply chain processes and its related data are used in a dynamic setting for business decision making
  • Simplify the current technology processes to leverage more standard, out-of-the-box technology
  • Identify opportunities to utilize existing and new functionality to identify relevant trends and propose actionable recommendations
  • Prioritize key functionality and KPIs that are essential to driving insight for profitable growth
  • Work with cross functional teams to rapidly scale, modernize, and automate reporting tools
  • Support user training and promote use and adoption of supply planning tools
  • Build a backlog of new functionalities to accelerate adoption of net new planning processes, and/or provide necessary data to key business decision makers
  • Implementation of Enterprise Applications and Business Processes
  • Collaborate with Technology, Global and Regional Supply Chain, Sales, Warehousing, Manufacturing, Finance, and external implementation partners to ensure a globally aligned and efficient continuous improvement of supply chain performance management needs
  • Liaise and translate the regional McCain team\xe2\x80\x99s requirements and expectations
  • Business partnership
  • Strategic supply chain partner to Commercial, Marketing, Manufacturing, Procurement, Agriculture, Finance, and Warehousing functions
  • Provide insights about opportunities to maximize revenue, minimize cost, and increase operational efficiency to drive the bottom line
  • Accountable for identifying decisions worth making with processes and data, framing them (including defining metrics and key assumptions), and proposing actionable recommendations
MEASURES OF SUCCESS:
  • Implementation and adoption of best practice Supply Chain processes and Digital Technology
  • Transformation of how we leverage Supply Chain applications at McCain Foods
  • Team Engagement (both at corporate level and regional level)
KEY QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCES:
  • 10-12 years experience in a variety of Supply Chain Planning and related Technology roles; with a demonstrated history of driving transformational change in a large, global organization
  • A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements
  • Experience implementing best practice Supply Chain business processes and driving new, innovative internal concepts or products to completion
  • Knowledge and expertise in SAP Supply Chain modules and tools and how they integrate with Sales, Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing and Logistics processes
  • Advanced People Leadership skills and Stakeholder Management
  • Strong awareness of data best practices and what\xe2\x80\x99s possible with rich data
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build compelling narratives with data
  • Experience with requirement analysis (interviewing, facilitation, gap analysis, data analysis, business process mapping, user interface design and mock-up)
  • Good business acumen, understands how to build use cases to drive value through the use of technology and data
  • Experience managing and driving complex, cross-functional programs
  • Effective Project Management skills
  • Experience in food industry, CPG or manufacturing, ideally in the Supply Chain function
