A new position of Talent Acquisition Director Position has been created to enhance our focus on customer service and recruitment operations. The incumbent will lead the implementation of a recruitment and hiring strategy to ensure consistently high quality talent delivered to our clients. Additionally, they will also be managing sales responsibilities and expectations while in this role.

The Talent Acquisition Director will be accountable for enhancing, planning and leading a comprehensive recruitment strategy. Recruitment strategy and plans must take into account market and competitive talent acquisition activity, regulatory changes and relevant environmental factors. The successful incumbent will be accountable for working collaboratively with the CEO to determine best practices related to talent acquisition for our clients.

Responsibilities will include:

General:

The right candidate demonstrates the ability to execute and handle multiple projects and excels in a fast paced environment, with evolving portfolios and projects. As a leader you must be able to build, lead, and motivate. Have a strong sense of analytics and have the ability to develop a vision backed by a strong business plan. Easily adaptable through change and can successfully support other team members, as well as, the organization through this change, while maintaining focus, intensity and motivation. The right candidate must be comfortable managing both macros and micro issues, from shaping and implementing new strategies to day to day responsibilities.

Your experience MUST consist of a mix of management, high-level executive recruitment, sales, strategy, talent acquisition analytics, communication, and employer brand management. The right candidate must also have the ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English and French.

  • Excellent People Management:
We are looking for someone who can manage and implement an executive recruitment strategy. Providing guidance to our team of recruiters for optimal performance, by developing the best platforms and tools to support the team.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Weekly strategy meetings with recruiters; covering, KPI, sales and mandate status, and strategy review
  • Weekly Training & Sales sessions; reviewing mandates, coordinate 1 training per week, etc.
  • Monthly (End-Of-Month review); covering team performance on recruitment platforms (LinkedIn reports & activity, Indeed, etc), budget and expenses of the month, social media overview, link building and content strategy, any issues that need to be addressed, etc.
  • Manage employee satisfaction and retention
  • Manage CV submittals, kick-off calls and client correspondents
  • RMS-Recruitment Management System-NJOYN-(check and input meetings, notes, uploads), Our client calendar updates, JD formatting and keywords for indeed, coordinate and handle in-person meetings, advertising, etc
  • Manage translation activities and outsourcing
  • Organize team-building activities (1/month)
  • Organize and execute industry-specific networking events for recruiters
  • Advertising: Strategize and manage where we advertise & post, keep up with new trends per job category
  • Manage Usage of LinkedIn, NJOYN, Indeed
  • Manage any additional training and staff development
High Level Executive Recruitment:

We need the right candidate to be comfortable with, both, overseeing recruitment, but also taking part in the recruitment of high-level executive positions. They will be a seasoned recruitment strategist, ideally with sales experience with a search firm environment.

They will responsible for:
  • Demonstrating the ability to understand the fundamental business drivers in talent acquisition, anticipating change and seeing competitive opportunities in an evolving marketplace
  • Gaining high-level execute mandates
  • Following the necessary recruitment steps in order to fill these mandates
  • Understand the needs of their client
  • Find candidates for these mandates (sourcing, emailing, calling, interviewing)
  • Having weekly calls with client to maintain open lines of communication
  • Attending in-person client meetings to discuss mandate (if needed)
  • Networking and growing their pool of contacts within various industries
  • Staying on-trend with the job and candidate market
Sales:

The candidate understands the needs of our clients and those within various industries (IT, AI, Engineering, Pharma & Science, Finance, etc.) to ensure the overall sales and recruitment strategy will assist in meeting the clients objectives and needs. We need someone with a proven track record of delivering significant and sustained talent growth in competitive sales market environments.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Ensuring the recruiters have an adequate number of mandates
  • Ensure sales targets are obtained by recruiters
  • Cold calling & prospecting
  • Expanding and upselling existing accounts, reviving old accounts, and calling leads from recruiters
  • Handling client proposals, client negotiations (terms & conditions)
  • Inbound calls from new clients
  • Intake calls with recruiters (after terms are signed)
  • Handing service follow-ups with clients on current mandates we are handling
  • Scheduling and going to in-person sales visits (for new and existing clients)
  • Closing mandates and perm invoicing
  • Follow-up on filled mandates (service review, congratulation e-mails, and testimonials)
  • Handling monthly orders of gifts to clients and candidates (strategize and coordinate ordering and track order)
  • Create and manage sales reports (Global and Individual)
  • Manage KPI reports
  • Partner with specialized organizations (HR, Engineering, etc)
  • Organize events and sponsorships
  • Manage CRM: Sales + BD Reporting
