About the Position:



The Director, Talent Acquisition will report to the VP, People and Culture and will play a pivotal role supporting the company's growth and enhancing its brand by designing and implementing innovative recruitment strategies while also directly managing day-day talent acquisition efforts. This role requires collaboration with the leadership team and hiring managers to drive recruitment efforts and ensure our talent pipeline at all levels supports the company's long-term goals across Partners, Capital and Equiton Living entities.



Key Functions and Responsibilities:



Develop and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives. Create and implement innovative and effective sourcing and recruitment strategies for all levels of positions. Analyze industry trends and workforce data to stay ahead of emerging talent acquisition trends and ensure the organization's competitive edge. Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for all candidates. Actively participate in sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring decisions for positions at all levels, which includes proactively pipelining and targeting niche candidate pools using a variety of tools, technology, and networks. Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and ensure the hiring approach is aligned with company's goals. Responsible to educate and train all hiring managers on the skills necessary to effectively interview, select and onboard candidates. Continuously evaluate and optimize recruitment processes, ensuring the experience for candidates and hiring teams is seamless and effective. Implement and track recruitment metrics and KPIs to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Champion and promote Equiton's brand in the market as a top employer through various channels attracting top-tier candidates. Manage full cycle recruitment process from posting, sourcing, interviewing, job offer and reference checks and onboarding, ensuring a timely completion and communication to all relevant parties. Prime liaison with recruitment agencies - responsible for contract negotiation, record-keeping, and management of preferred vendor list. Prime on Dayforce Applicant Tracking System, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Predictive Index Hire module.

Qualifications:



10+ years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition working in a high growth, entrepreneurial environment Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; additional HR certification is an asset Experience in investment, financial services, and/ or real estate property management is preferred Proven success in developing and executing strategic recruitment plans for all levels of positions Deep knowledge of recruitment technologies, tools, and platforms (Ceridian Dayforce, LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.) Experienced in leveraging assessments as part of the selection process- Predictive Index understanding is preferred Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal skills with the ability to build credible relationships internally and externally Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Analytical, data-driven mindset with the ability to assess talent needs and introduce new ideas to enhance recruit recruitment processes.
