Position Overview





We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director, Supply Chain (DSC) to lead modernize, and integrate procurement and logistics operations for CMH Heli Skiing, while overseeing the successful integration of Mike Wiegele Heli-Skiing's procurement strategy.




This role is accountable for setting direction, leading cross-functional initiatives, and driving measurable business outcomes across complex hospitality and remote operations environments. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in supply chain leadership, program and project management, vendor strategy, and organizational change, with the ability to translate operational complexity into clear priorities and execution plans.




The DSC will serve as a key leader in enabling exceptional guest experiences by ensuring supply chain operations are reliable, cost-effective, scalable, and aligned to business strategy.




The Director of Supply Chain provides strategic and operational leadership across all aspects of procurement, logistics, inventory, and vendor management, including Food & Beverage, Retail, MRO, and general hospitality supplies. This role owns the end-to-end supply chain operating model and is responsible for advancing cost optimization strategies, process standardization, and performance management across the organization.




In addition, the DSC will lead complex, multi-year integration initiatives, driving alignment, adoption, and operational consistency between CMH and MW Heli-Skiing supply chain functions.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities



Strategic Planning:

+ Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with overall business objectives, guest experience standards, and long-term growth plans.
+ Partner with executive leadership to identify and prioritize cost-saving opportunities, operational efficiencies, risk mitigation strategies, and sustainability initiatives.
+ Establish clear supply chain KPIs and governance structures to drive accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.

Business Integration & Adoption:

+ Lead planning and integration efforts to create synergies between CMH and Mike Wiegele supply chain functions.
+ Act as the program owner for cross-company integration efforts, managing timelines, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder alignment.
+ Develop and implement change management and adoption strategies for both business divisions.

Vendor Strategy Management:

+ Own the enterprise vendor strategy, including supplier segmentation, performance management, contract negotiations, and long-term partnership development
+ Lead vendor evaluations and negotiations to secure favorable commercial terms while maintaining quality, reliability, and guest experience standards.

Operational Oversight: Logistics & Distribution:

+ Provide leadership oversight to logistics, warehouse, and distribution teams supporting remote heli-ski and hospitality operations.
+ Collaborate with transportation and logistics partners to optimize routes, reduce lead times, manage risk, and ensure operational continuity in challenging environments.
+ Ensure supply chain resilience and contingency planning for remote and weather-dependent operations.

Financial & Cost Management:

+ Lead supply chain cost management, budget planning, and forecasting processes.
+ Drive data-informed decision-making through analysis of purchasing trends, inventory performance, and cost drivers.
+ Prepare and present executive-level reporting on cost performance, savings initiatives, and operational risks.

Cross-Functional Leadership

+ Serve as a strategic partner to Hospitality, Maintenance, Mountain Operations, and other business units to align supply chain priorities with operational needs.
+ Facilitate cross-functional planning and decision-making to ensure procurement and logistics activities support peak season demands and service expectations.

Technology, Data & Process Improvement

+ Champion the adoption of supply chain technologies, analytics, and reporting tools to improve visibility, control, and decision-making.
+ Lead process standardization and best-practice implementation across purchasing, inventory management, and vendor governance.

Sustainability & Responsible Sourcing

+ Lead sustainability initiatives across the supply chain, including waste reduction, responsible sourcing, and evaluation of environmentally preferred alternatives
+ Balance sustainability goals with operational reliability and financial performance.

People Leadership & Team Development

+ Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
+ Provide clear direction, coaching, and performance management to build leadership capability and succession within the team.
+ Align team structure and capabilities to current and future business needs.
Work with the senior leadership to build a culture that prioritizes all aspects of safety, the best possible experience for our employees and guests, recognizes our responsibility to the communities and mountain environment we are so privileged to operate in, and achieves leading financial results. Help develop and implement strategic goals and objectives aligned with the overall CMH business strategy. Develops and implements key performance objectives to meet business and guest expectations and optimize employee productivity in line with business growth. Plans and participates in meetings with key leadership and project teams as and when necessary and provides necessary inputs for the timely completion of tasks. Manage multiple projects and effectively prioritize tasks, responsibilities, and goals; use goals to guide actions and create detailed action plans. Help develop and support implementation of OHS, sustainability, and DEI initiatives. Train, participate in and provide support, as required, during emergency response situations.
Support guests and employees in the field program during area visits, as needed.





Minimum Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant specialized training, preferred. Proven experience (8+ years) in supply chain management or related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the hospitality or related industry. Valid driver's license with clean driver's abstract.

Trustworthy, goal-oriented, respectful, and self-directed in completing the core functions of the role. Confidence to interact with all levels of the company in a hub-and-spoke model in which many individuals are remote.


Working Conditions



Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis. Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other common office equipment on a regular basis. This position requires you to work on evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the needs of the business. This position will require frequent travel to CMH areas, as well as other business-related travel. Compensation





A competitive compensation package will be provided including an attractive base salary which is based upon qualifications, experience, and skill set, as well as an annual incentive program. Further details will be discussed in a personal interview.
