We are seeking a Sales Strategist to develop and implement strategies that improve our sales performance. A successful candidate will work closely with the Sales team to identify key areas of improvement, set goals and objectives, and develop strategies and a playbook to increase sales revenue. The Sales Strategist will be responsible for collaborating with Product Marketing, Pre-Sales and, Sales Leadership to develop and implement a playbook for world-class sales methodology, process, and performance. The Sales Strategist will own all enablement related to implementation and adoption of Sales Strategy and contribute to enablement related to ongoing go-to-market initiatives.

As a Director, you will be responsible for leading our sales enablement initiatives and driving the success of our sales organization. This is a pivotal leadership role where you will shape the future of our sales operations and empower our team to achieve exceptional results.

Responsibilities:

Develop and Execute Sales Enablement Strategy:

  • Create and execute a comprehensive sales enablement strategy aligned with our overall sales goals and objectives.
  • Drive the adoption of best practices, processes, and tools to enhance the effectiveness and productivity of our sales team.
Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:
  • Work closely with sales leadership, marketing, revenue operations, product and finance teams to identify and address areas of improvement in sales processes, methodologies, and tools.
  • Foster collaboration and seamless communication to align efforts and optimize the performance of our sales organization.
Analyze Sales Performance Metrics and Provide Insights:
  • In partnership with revenue operations, utilize sales performance metrics and data analytics to determine the effectiveness of our sales enablement initiatives.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to enhance sales productivity, revenue generation, and overall sales performance.
Design, Implement and Optimize Sales Training Programs:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales training programs that include onboarding new hires and enhancing the skills of our existing sales team members.
  • Ensure consistent application of best practices, sales methodologies, and product knowledge throughout the sales organization.
Develop and Maintain Sales Enablement Resources:
  • Create and manage sales enablement resources, including sales playbooks, presentations, templates, and competitive intelligence materials.
  • Equip our sales team with the necessary tools and resources to effectively engage customers and drive successful sales outcomes.
Lead Sales Technology Solutions Implementation:
  • Take the lead in implementing and driving the adoption of sales technology solutions, such as CRM platforms, sales automation tools, and data analytics systems.
  • Streamline sales operations, improve efficiency, and leverage data-driven insights for strategic decision-making.
Define and Track Key Performance Indicators related to Objectives and Key Results (OKRs):
  • Collaborate with revenue operations to define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales metrics.
  • Establish benchmarks, monitor progress, and evaluate the impact of sales enablement initiatives on sales performance and revenue growth.
Provide Leadership and Coaching:
  • Provide strong leadership, coaching, and mentorship to the sales team, empowering them to enhance their skills, achieve targets, and excel in their roles.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and professional development within the sales organization.
Stay Informed on Industry Trends:
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor strategies, and market dynamics to inform sales enablement strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Leverage market insights to drive continuous improvement and innovation within our sales organization.
Foster a Culture of Accountability and Collaboration:
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the sales organization.
  • Encourage teamwork, knowledge sharing, and a customer-centric approach to drive exceptional results.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales effectiveness, sales operations, or sales enablement roles, preferably within the technology or software industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and best practices, along with experience implementing and optimizing them.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving sales productivity improvements and achieving sales targets.
  • Experience in developing and delivering sales training programs and sales enablement resources.
  • Proficiency in using sales technology tools, such as ,CRM systems (i.e. Salesforce), sales coaching tools (i.e. Gong), sales automation software, and data analytics platforms.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to coach and develop sales team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional customer satisfaction and driving revenue growth.
