The Director, Corporate Real Estate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive global Real Estate strategy that aligns closely with corporate objectives. This role will be responsible for maximizing value across various Real Estate functions, such as but not limited to, Manage the CRE Function, Manage Facilities Services and Assets, Optimize Portfolio Strategy, Plan and Execute Capital Projects, Manage Customer Relationships, Manage Vendor Partnerships, Manage Workplace Strategy, Maintain a Sustainability and Wellbeing Strategy, while ensuring cost optimization, compliance, and operational efficiency. Candidate will have experience leading vendor management and sourcing processes and leveraging procurement technologies to enhance efficiency and performance reporting. Candidate will also have strong negotiation skills and a proven track record in vendor and supplier relations.Key Responsibilities Reports directly to the Director, Procurement and Purchasing and will collaborate closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, and vendors and subsidiaries.
Enable the Corporate Real Estate Key Functional Activities & Execution
+ Manage the Function such as i) Build an Organizational Structure; ii) Manage the Insource/Outsource Strategy; iii) Manage the CRE Dashboard; iv) Apply CRE Technology; and v) Manage and Train CRE Talent.
+ Optimize Portfolio Strategy such as i) Forecast Portfolio Needs; ii) Conduct Location Assessments; iii) Manage Lease Agreements; and iv) Measure Portfolio Performance
+ Manage Facilities Services and Assets as i) Set and Manage Service Levels; ii) Establish and Manage Emergency Preparedness; iii) Ensure Building Compliance & Security.
+ Plan and Execute Capital Projects such as i) Establish a Capital Plan; ii) Manage Capital Projects; and iii) Evaluate Capital Projects
+ Manage Customer Relationships such as i) Manage Business Partner Needs; ii) Manage End User Expectations; iii) Communicate CRE's Value Proposition; and iv) Measure Customer Experience
+ Manage Vendor Partnerships such as i) Identify and Select Vendors; ii) Onboard Vendors; iii) Manage Vendor Performance; and iv) Collaborate with Vendors.
+ Manage Workplace Strategy such as i) Manage Workplace Design; ii) Manage Workplace Guidelines and Policies; iii) Manage Workplace Technology; iv) Manage Workplace Identity; and v) Measure Space Utilization.
+ Maintain a Sustainability and Wellbeing Strategy such as i) Design a Sustainability Strategy; ii) Ensure Building Sustainability; and iii) Manage Employee Wellbeing.
Financial Management & Budgeting
+ Oversee budgets, ensuring cost-effective spending and alignment with corporate financial goals.
+ Provide senior leadership with data-driven reports on Corporate Real Estate performance, including cost savings.
Team Leadership & Development
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Operations, Legal, HR, Sustainability and IT, to align Corporate Real Estate initiatives with overall business goals.
+ Provide leadership to a team of Corporate Real Estate professionals. Coach, mentor, develop, mentor and retain top talent.
Technology & Process Optimization
+ Implement and deploy Integrated Workspace Management System (including Field Service Management) technology to its full capabilities to improve team's efficiency. Ensure data accuracy is respected by the team.
+ Utilize data and analytics to support location assessment decision-making.
+ Lead Corporate Real Estate processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and budgetary requirements.
+ Oversee Real Estate Portfolio governance, ensuring compliance, performance optimization, and risk mitigation across all locations.
+ Manage contract (lease) negotiation and performance tracking, ensuring favorable terms, service level adherence, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience
+ Bachelor's degree preferably in a quantitative and/or a qualitative related fields such as Law, Finance, or Civil Engineering.
+ 10+ years of experience in Real Estate, or supply chain, with a strong strategic focus.
+ Expertise in leading business case creation, optimization, and communication of complex topics in simple terms - critical to translate unfamiliar topics stemming from analytics or non-core specialty areas to senior executives
+ Expertise in driving technology implementation and complex system integrations
+ Strong financial acumen, including budget management and cost analysis.
+ Experience leveraging Real Estate technologies. Integrated Workspace Management System experience preferred.
+ Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
