Our Downtown Vancouver real estate client is seeking a permanent Director, Property Accounting to join the team. Excellent opportunity for a Senior Manager or Controller looking to make that next step!
Salary: $145,000 to $165,000 + Bonus

You will lead and mentor a team of property accountants, working with asset management, leasing, finance, and acquisitions teams. Responsibilities include managing resources, understanding a diverse portfolio of income properties, and communicating key issues to senior management.
You will review financial results, ensure accurate monthly reporting, oversee audits, and conduct technical accounting analysis. Additionally, you will manage annual cash forecasts, monitor working capital, and prepare annual budgets and quarterly forecasts. You will support financial system improvements, enhance processes, and undertake ad hoc projects.
Successful Candidate:
- Designated CPA
- 10+ years progressive accounting experience with a focus on the property management sector
- Supervisory experience within a large organization
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience with Yardi
