A Director of Product Management is responsible for leading a team of Product Owners and Product Managers. Product Owners (POs) work as part of the scrum team to deliver software solutions. In this role, you will prioritize the product features and enhancements the team delivers.

Product Planning

Strategy & product planning including market, customers
Business cases (an investment thesis request for funding)
Business case evaluation, prioritization, approval, and budget allocation

Gain insight from customers and internal stakeholders

Product Development
Feature evaluation, and iterative testing/feedback
Project start and planning as appropriate

Work with POs to ensure timely delivery of product features and client commitments

Product Introduction
Go to market execution & evaluation

Product Lifecycle management
Evaluate product and feature adoption

Product Leadership
Team performance, Systems performance, and portfolio performance
Strategic insights

Ability to create and manage project budgets

This position interacts with stakeholders at all levels, from colleagues across the LifeWorks Product & Technology teams, Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Operations & Finance teams. They may also interact with Directors, VP, SVPs, and EVPs as a part of this role.

As a Product Management team, we are looking for self-starters with engaging and diverse leadership styles, excellent influencing and facilitation skills, and individuals who quickly develop relationships across the organization while building a collaborative and innovative work culture. We like to learn from both success and failure, and we are comfortable leading and working through change and ambiguity.

Qualifications:

8+ years of experience as a Product Manager

Experience working with Agile development

Product Management Certification preferred

A degree in a related field preferred

Outstanding communication skills and attention to detail, with the ability to clearly articulate the product vision.

A skillful negotiator within internal and external team environments

Strong analytic and information synthesis skills

Metric and data-driven decision making

Product management experience building SAAS products
