The Director, Precision Medicine is accountable for the development of high performing teams that achieve organizational/program goals and objectives, as well as the efficient utilization of resources (human, capital, and financial). The Director, Precision Medicine facilitates and champions a learning and research environment that aligns with the strategic directions of the program and organization.Hours of WorkMonday - Friday, 37.5 hours bi-weeklyYour Qualifications

  • Masters Level Degree in health-related discipline, health administration, or related subjects. Equivalent experience and alternative education may be considered.
  • Registration, or eligible for registration, with the appropriate health association/regulatory body in Nova Scotia is required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in relevant field of expertise
  • Minimum of three (3) years in a leadership role required.
  • Expert content knowledge in key areas of leadership responsibility.
  • Expert knowledge in field to critically analyze evidence-based practices to inform strategy development and organizational planning.
  • Demonstrated success in building collaborative relationships and teams and leading complex healthcare operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results through collaboration, persuasion, and excellent project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and lead high-performing teams with a strong track record of continuous improvement and measurable outcomes.
  • Demonstrated expertise in leading complex change.
  • Competency in other languages is an asset.
