Job Description

Aplin is seeking an experienced Director of Sales - IT Managed Services to join our Edmonton-based client's senior leadership team and take charge of expanding the client base while building and managing a high-performing sales team. This role requires a strategic thinker and hands-on leader who can drive revenue growth, foster client relationships, and collaborate across teams to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the overall business strategy as a key member of the senior leadership team.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve or surpass revenue targets.
• Lead revenue forecasting and projections to support company growth initiatives.
• Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales representatives, ensuring individual and team KPIs are met.
• Collaborate closely with the marketing team to align sales and lead generation strategies.
• Analyze sales data, adjust tactics, and provide actionable insights to improve overall performance.
• Establish and monitor sales KPIs and performance metrics to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in a sales leadership role, preferably within the technology or managed services industry.
• Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Demonstrated ability to manage, develop, and grow a sales team.
• Strong knowledge of sales forecasting, revenue projection, and data-driven strategy development.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Proficiency in analyzing sales data and translating it into effective strategies and actionable insights.
