Lennon Recovery House Association Inc. (Lennon House) is a nonprofit charity with the mission of

empowering individuals recovering from addictions and co-occurring mental health issues, and providing a temporary home in a supportive and transformative environment where residents can heal, grow, and rebuild their lives.

Our Vision is to foster a community of compassion, understanding, and empowerment. We strive to break the stigma surrounding addiction, by offering comprehensive and personalized recovery programs through evidence-based practices, holistic support, and focusing on individual strengths. Our goal is to equip residents through a case management approach, with the tools and resilience needed for sustained recovery. Lennon Recovery House stands as a beacon of hope, dedicated to guiding each person towards a brighter, healthier future, equipped with the wisdom to thrive as a recovering individual, adept at managing both addiction and mental health challenges.

The Lennon House model of care is a holistic approach to recovery and provides residents with an opportunity for long term care as needed and offers consistent support to help them build the skills and motivation they need to have sustained recovery when re-integrating back into everyday life. Lennon House is an abstinence-based environment that offers case management and evidence based programming.

Overview of the position



The Director of Resident Services reports directly to the Executive Director. The Director of Resident Services will mentor other staff and have a great respect for Lennon House policies, practices and ethics while having the ability to inspire others. The ultimate goal for the Clinical Director is to sustain the smooth day-to-day operation of all services offered to residents while overseeing and providing direct supervision to Case Workers and working collaboratively with the Program Coordinator to provide ongoing development and implementation and evaluation of programs based on client centered, evidence based best practices. The Director of Resident Services will oversee the wait list by working with referrals, community partners and performing all intake assessments. The incumbent will also lead scheduled weekly team meetings to discuss and give leadership to resolve complex case plan issues as well as oversee and give direction to peer support staff on an ongoing basis.

Lennon Recovery House Association Inc. can offer in-house services to 27 individuals; 23 beds in the main building and 4 beds in our transitional housing program. Job duties



Provide leadership and mentorship to staff to maintain person-centered, trauma informed programming as well as team culture

Provide direct supervision to Case Workers by offering oversight and direction in case planning Provide leadership to staff with resident related issues (ex: non compliance issues

Lead collaborative weekly case management meetings

Attends team meetings, case conferencing and all-staff meetings Work collaboratively with other service providers

Oversee and work alongside the Program Coordinator. Co-facilitate various evidence based groups

Anticipate program needs

Oversee and manage wait list working with referrals and referring service providers; assess referrals and case plan with referral to collaborate intake

Assist and oversee resident emergencies / house emergencies

Support Program Coordinator / Case Workers shift vacancies as needed

Skills and Knowledge



The Director of Resident Services must have professional knowledge of the theories, principles, techniques, and practices of social service delivery systems.

Working knowledge of the key behavioral and technical competencies in working with addicted population

Crisis management experience is preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Exceptional ability to multi-task and excellent organizational skills. This includes attention to detail, problem-solving, time management, and the ability to follow through on projects and meet deadlines

Excellent case management skills with a proven track record of success

Ability to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information, and demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and responsibility

Qualifications



Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant humanities, social science, or related field Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience providing counseling or case management with individuals or families experiencing addiction and mental health issues

Knowledge of recovery homes, group facilitation, psycho-social assessments, case management, program planning, and outcome evaluations

Knowledge of various treatment modalities as well as community resources Strong people skills and ability to work with those in recovery.

Excellent communication skills, organizational and time management skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Windows and GSuite.

Current Police vulnerability check.

Valid Driver's License. Driver's abstract required.

Assets

Experience in overseeing and managing both staff and operations

Current certification through CACCF or working toward certification

Advanced knowledge of 12-step programs

Advanced knowledge of assessment, treatment planning, discharge planning and documentation Current certification in First Aid/CPR, NVCI
