Job Description

An expert level knowledge base in project management, including at least 15 years of experience managing complex design projects, including project delivery, performance, monitoring, reporting, closeout, and/or contract administration. A clear personal vision, a big-picture mindset, a commitment to collaboration, and strong mentorship and coaching skills. A comprehensive understanding of project financials, business development, and risk management tools, processes, and business metrics. A strong knack for innovation, foresight, problem solving, connecting the dots, and finding efficiencies.

Staff Training & Development



Designing and implementing structured training programs for project managers and delivery teams. Mentoring and coaching project staff to build leadership and technical delivery capabilities. Conducting regular skills assessments and identifying development opportunities. Promoting knowledge sharing and lessons learned across project teams.

Process & Policy Development



Developing, documenting, and maintaining standardized project delivery methodologies. Establishing project governance frameworks, quality assurance protocols, and risk management practices. Collaborating with cross-functional leaders to align delivery processes with business goals. Monitoring compliance with internal policies and industry standards.

Project Performance & Recovery



Intervening in high-risk or underperforming projects to assess root causes and implement corrective actions. Ensuring that peer review and appropriate QA/QC procedures are followed in accordance with company policy. Facilitating project health reviews and post-mortem evaluations. Supporting project teams with strategic guidance, resource allocation, and stakeholder management. Acting as a senior escalation point for complex delivery challenges. Providing support to delivery teams on risk mitigation.

Continuous Improvement in Project Delivery



Leading initiatives to identify inefficiencies and implement process enhancements. Analyzing project performance data to drive insights and improvements. Fostering a culture of innovation and feedback-driven change. Benchmarking internal practices against industry standards and emerging trends.

Strategic Leadership & Collaboration



Contributing to business planning and operational strategy from a delivery perspective. Engaging with clients and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project expectations and outcomes. Promoting a high-performance culture rooted in accountability and excellence.

Other



As a professional in your field, engaging through all project stages, from definition, through planning, design, and construction using your demonstrated abilities to recognize opportunities, understand client needs and manage and deliver projects. Consulting with key internal stakeholders to develop a yearly action plan summarized in the annual Project Delivery Plan. Fostering a collaborative work environment that encourages professional growth and development among all team members. Working with the Director of Innovation to drive efficiencies and introduce new technology and innovation. Participating in industry events, conferences, and networking activities to promote the firm's expertise and capabilities.
