About the Role
We are seeking a collaborative, values-driven leader to join our senior management team as
Director of Programs & Services
.
Reporting to the Executive Director, this position provides overall leadership for Ten Ten's programs and services.
The Director ensures that programs and attendant support services reflect Ten Ten's Independent Living Philosophy and meet the needs of tenants and participants. This role also provides leadership in staff training, human resources, and labour relations, and works closely with the Executive Director and Board of Directors.
Key Responsibilities
Lead planning, delivery, and evaluation of Ten Ten programs and services.
Guide the Resource Team and program supervisors in providing high-quality, person-centered supports.
Ensure program procedures and service models align with Independent Living principles.
Oversee attendant services and ensure tenants receive appropriate supports.
Manage budgets, resources, and reporting requirements.
Support HR and staff development, including training and performance reviews.
Represent Ten Ten in discussions with funding partners and government agencies.
Serve as Acting Executive Director during absences.
About You
Undergraduate degree in health or social services preferred; equivalent training and/or work/life experience will be strongly considered.
Lived experience with disability
or direct experience working alongside people with disabilities is highly valued.
Knowledge of issues affecting people with physical disabilities in community living.
Strong understanding of community service models and government/community supports.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency with office software and documentation tools.
Understanding of and commitment to the Independent Living Philosophy.
