Job Description

Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company, is currently recruiting a Director of Product Development who will infuse the Product Development Team with their talent, energy and leadership skills. 1) Lead, inspire and mentor a team of scientists, researchers and technicians to ensure they have the resources and support needed to excel in their roles

2) Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement within the Innovation Center

3) Oversee the development and optimization of formulations for pharmaceuticals, natural health and dietary supplement products

4) Collaborate closely with the Scientific Team to ensure the successful formulation and testing of products,

5) Adhere to regulatory guidelines and quality standards

6) Provide guidance and expertise in regulatory requirements for product development, including preparing and reviewing submissions for regulatory agencies

7) Liaise with regulatory authorities to facilitate timely approval processes and navigate any regulatory challenges

8) Stay abreast of the latest advancements and trends in the industry to identify opportunities for innovation and new product development

9) Foster a culture of research and experimentation to drive continuous improvement and stay ahead of market demands

10) Develop and execute strategic plans for product development and align with company goals and objectives

11) Oversee project timelines, budgets and resources to ensure the timely and successful completion of formulation projects

Critical Requirements

1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field

2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

3) Recent experience in the pharmaceutical industry is strongly preferred

4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in research and development

Compensation and Other Details

Base Salary: Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
