With a rich history of over 60 years in Heavy Civil, including industrial and commercial services, and Sewer Water construction within the group, we take pride in offering a variety of specialized services.

We excel in Sewer and Water projects, ranging from subdivisions to residential/commercial tie-ins, and we're well-versed in LDS systems for Commercial and Multi-family developments. Additionally, our expertise extends to bulk and finish excavation, rough grading, and base work. Job Summary

The Director of Operations plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the organization, ensuring that business processes run efficiently and effectively. This leadership position requires a strategic thinker who can drive process improvements, enhance operational performance, and support business development initiatives. The Director of Operations will collaborate with various departments to align operational strategies with organizational goals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Duties

Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's objectives and enhance overall efficiency. Lead and mentor teams across various departments to ensure high performance and accountability. Oversee project management initiatives, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope. Manage project accounting, tracking expenses and revenues accurately. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to optimize operations. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational effectiveness and make data-driven decisions. Collaborate with senior management to develop budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation plans. Follow market trends to inform job costing and ensure competitive pricing. Conduct regular staff meetings to discuss project statuses and team performance. Assist with all estimating aspects to ensure accurate project proposals. Prepare and deliver progress reports to stakeholders to keep everyone informed. Recruit and hire skilled employees to ensure a capable workforce.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business or a related field. Proven experience in a managerial or sales role, preferably within the construction or excavation industry. Proven negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable outcomes for the organization. Strong background in process improvement methodologies, demonstrating a track record of enhancing operational efficiency. Exceptional leadership capabilities, fostering a collaborative team environment while driving results. Ability to analyze and interpret financial data effectively including knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes. Knowledge of B2W and Site Docs considered an asset. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Pay: $150,000.00 per year
