RightRide is looking for a Director of Operations for Eastern Canada, responsible for providing oversight and support to General Managers within their designated regions. This role will be responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient operation of all aspects of the sales and finance operations within their designated region.

Your Key Responsibilities

Oversight and guidance of regional dealerships to ensure accountability to operational targets
  • Connect with all General Managers on a regular basis
  • Monitor performance metrics related to your team including expenses, sales, and customer experience metrics
  • Provide guidance and support in developing and implementing sales and compensation plans for your region to enable achieving monthly and annual goals
  • Contribute ideas to and participate in the development and implementation of the dealership\xe2\x80\x99s marketing and advertising initiatives
  • Assist in the development of strategies for ensuring the successful conversion of iLeads to sales
  • Assist in the development and implementation of strategies for growth
  • Monitor project/process roll-outs and ensure all levels of accountability are upheld
Maintain relationship between operations managers and corporate departments to ensure compliance and effective operations
  • Monitor and advise on regional location inventory buying strategies with Lead Buyer
  • Coordinating and partnering with administrative, People & Culture, or financial departments
  • Building and maintaining good relationships with other key dealer partners, handle customer complaint escalations and issues, and taking steps ensures customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Partner with People & Culture to performance manage, or address areas of perceived risk in the business
Continuous improvement and development of people and functions
  • Work with head office teams and dealerships to identify, recommend, and implement new processes, technologies, and systems to improve workflows
  • Identify process gaps and partner with relevant stakeholders to document and address
  • Provide regular feedback to regional management members on areas of improvement, personal objectives, and business development opportunities
  • Review opportunities for training and development with platform leaders and work through implementation as needed
Your Capabilities and Credentials
  • Minimum 5 years of Automotive Sales/F&I experience
  • Minimum 5 years of Automotive Management experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a history of strong management and leadership skills, preferably within the automotive industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of traffic management (iLeads)
  • Strong understanding of the sales process
  • Strong understanding of sales process in prime/near-prime and sub-prime
  • Strong understanding of used cars and the inventory lifecycle
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with automotive industry software
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to administrative and procedural detail
  • Availability to travel up to 50% of the time
