As we enter a new phase of growth, we are seeking a high-performing

Director of Operations

to join our leadership team. This person will serve as the

#2 in the company

, responsible for optimizing our operations and helping scale the business.

You will have direct impact on strategic operations, production, supply chain, installations, and customer delivery excellence. You will work closely with the CEO and be trusted to lead our operational execution.

Who We're Looking For




We are seeking a strategic operational leader with the

critical thinking skills of an engineer

and the

business acumen of a seasoned entrepreneur

.

Our ideal candidate profile:



10-15 years of progressive leadership in manufacturing operations (custom production, woodworking, specialty manufacturing experience an asset) A degree in Engineering, Business, or Operations Management Strong financial and operational acumen (budgeting, cost controls, KPIs) Hands-on leadership experience managing cross-functional teams (production, logistics, scheduling, supply chain) High integrity, trustworthiness, and strong problem-solving capability Continuous improvement mindset (Lean Six Sigma knowledge an asset) Experience implementing SOPs, KPIs, and performance-driven operational systems Comfortable in an entrepreneurial, growing company environment Professional maturity with a proven record of results

Key Responsibilities



Lead daily manufacturing, production, scheduling, inventory, logistics, and field installation operations Implement operational KPIs and drive continuous improvement across all departments Develop and standardize SOPs, ensuring consistent quality, cost control, and operational performance Oversee production scheduling, material planning, purchasing, and project delivery Collaborate closely with ownership on strategic planning and scaling initiatives Mentor and build a high-performing operations team Manage budgets, operational forecasting, and monthly reporting Ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction standards are met or exceeded

Success Metrics in This Role:



95%+ on-time project completion Significant improvement in production efficiency Documented SOPs and operational processes across departments High-performing, accountable operational team

Qualifications



7+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing, production, or construction Experience with custom fabrication, woodworking, or building materials is a plus Proven ability to lead teams and implement systems that drive results Strong planning, communication, and problem-solving skills Familiarity with ERP/MRP tools or project management software Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment High level of integrity and trustworthiness Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently

Education



Degree or diploma in Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred Equivalent experience in operational leadership roles also considered

Compensation



Base Salary:

$110,000 - $130,000

Performance Bonus:
