Director of Member Engagement (Full-time; Permanent) Senior Management position Reports to: General Manager The Toronto Lawn Tennis Club (\xe2\x80\x9cThe Lawn\xe2\x80\x9d) is the premier tennis club in Canada with almost 150 years of history. The Lawn is home to high caliber tennis and athletics, unrivaled private club dining and activities for the whole family. Our club is working on a multi-million Facilities Planning Project that will be designed with help of membership feedback. The Director of Member Engagement position will help facilitate this process, deepen member relationships, enhance member experience and drive member engagement. This position will spearhead the Communication, Membership Engagement and Internal Marketing (branding) effort. The Toronto Lawn Tennis Club is seeking approachable and outgoing professional to manage, co-ordinate and oversee all aspects of the Club\xe2\x80\x99s internal and external communications and member experience. Promote Club\xe2\x80\x99s mission, products and services. Work closely with management team to shape Club\xe2\x80\x99s image and exceptional member experience, as well as the appropriate methods to communicate it to the public. Required Skills \xc2\xb7 Excellent graphics and design skills \xc2\xb7 A wide degree of creativity and latitude \xc2\xb7 Must be a confident communicator and presenter \xc2\xb7 Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout, professional printing/publishing skills are essential, including ability to present concepts verbally \xc2\xb7 Must have good interpersonal and relationship-building skills \xc2\xb7 Must possess excellent organizational and planning skills \xc2\xb7 Superior project management and time management skills \xc2\xb7 Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital media/social media \xc2\xb7 Self motivated with a positive and professional approach to management Qualifications \xc2\xb7 Communications and/or other relevant certification \xc2\xb7 Previous experience as a communications director for a large organization would be a strong advantage. \xc2\xb7 A proven ability to lead communications strategies in other organizations. \xc2\xb7 At least 5 years of relevant experience \xc2\xb7 In-depth knowledge of Graphics and Design \xc2\xb7 Due to the nature of the Club Industry, we require a person with flexibility in schedule Your responsibilities will include \xc2\xb7 Develop an integrate communications strategy for the Club incorporating PR, Marketing, Social Media Accounts, and Internal communication \xc2\xb7 Develop strategies for enhancing member experience \xc2\xb7 Create artwork and design for Club\xe2\x80\x99s advertisement and communication such as posters, weekly membership communication, special membership announcements and annual reports etc. \xc2\xb7 Monitor social media accounts relating to the Club and its brand and maximizing opportunities for positive PR. \xc2\xb7 Plan, design, edit and write content for a variety of internal and external communication mediums. \xc2\xb7 Develop strategies for promoting Club services, products, launches, and promotions \xc2\xb7 Develop relationships with management team to collect all the necessary information on a timely basis The Lawn through the Pandemic.
