About the Opportunity

Currently, Taymor is looking for a Director of Marketing to join our team on a full-time basis in Delta, BC .
The Director of Marketing will help lead the Marketing team in directing the development, implementation, and execution of marketing strategies that will support Taymor's brand, vision, and corporate objectives.
The Director will be a strategic thinker, a robust planner and a driver for efficient execution. This role will be responsible for managing and guiding a team of marketing associates, creatively inspiring them to drive brand awareness, lead-nurturing, and content strategies through multiple channels and platforms, including internal campaigns and initiatives. As a hands-on leader, the Director of Marketing will support and mentor their team by encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving to continuously improve the user experience, customer engagement, and conversion. Additionally, cross-department collaboration will be essential for producing innovative solutions that drive brand engagement, informing and enhancing the overall marketing strategy
This role will oversee digital marketing initiatives such as Websites both for Taymor and in support of our customers' sites, and other platforms like HubSpot, Trello and Confluence. The Director of Marketing will drive performance metrics and work to communicate out to senior leadership KPIs via dashboard or other reporting methods.
This position will provide team management over the core of the Marketing team to include three reports: Digital Marketing Strategist, Content Strategist and Graphic Designer. The Director will have experience delivering change through leadership, and developing skill sets and capabilities within others to achieve results.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Develop strategic marketing plans to grow the business and customer engagement
• Lead and cultivate marketing efforts to increase brand awareness through social, publications, campaigns, blogs and other modes.
• Leads communications strategies, supports and ensures consistent use of the brand across all media
• Provide direction on improvements to HubSpot and the Taymor Website (utilizing the HubSpot platform)
• Direct marketing campaigns, website content, social channels, and content calendars
• Develop a Marketing roadmap and overarching calendar for key customer segments and personas
• Management of all aspects of creative production - both in-house and via agency engagement. This includes utilization of briefs, prioritizing asset creation, managing budgets and ensuring effective execution.
• Lead photoshoots and manage testimonial video shoot production (objectives, scripts, lead post-production edits, etc.)
• Lead management of marketing assets, image library, archives and associated collateral.
• Catalog and Collateral development to also include additional Sales support items.
• Collaborate with the Product Management/ Design team/ Channel Marketing to improve product and competitive positioning knowledge to enhance the effectiveness of the sales team.
• Define and drive advancement in marketing and website analytics, including establishing Marketing Scorecard with digital KPIs and conversion goals
• Oversee the buyer journey and demand pipeline and assist team in maintaining regular measurements of overall engagement and ROI of campaigns
• Oversee CRM/Email marketing programs targeting key customer segments and personas to drive lead generation and conversion of customers. Aid team in building Sales engagement and refine the process to qualify leads.
• Manage planning and budgeting process, marketing platforms, as well as operational processes, including content development workflows
• Represents the company at appropriate industry events including customer and association meetings
About You

To qualify for the role, ideally, you need:
• 10+ years of experience developing and executing Marketing Strategies to include managing digital marketing channels, campaigns, and teams (B2B2C)
The following skills and experience will be required:
• Platforms: HubSpot, Confluence, CRM
• Adobe Creative suite
• Hands-on experience planning and executing campaigns across CRM/Email, paid media, website, and social channels
• In-house creative management; briefs, asset creation and execution.
• Experience developing content marketing strategies and working with CMS
• Strong project planning & management skills
• Effective communication and team management skills, and collaborative team player
• Ecommerce and website platforms
• Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy, and best practice
The following skills, knowledge, and certifications will be considered an asset:
• Post-Secondary education, preferably in business/marketing (Marketing, Communications, and/or Business)
• HubSpot certification an asset
• Google Digital Marketing, Analytics, Project Management as asset
• Building Products/Home Improvement industry and/or Decorative Hardware industry experience is an asset
