Who we need Reporting to the Vice-President of Growth, we are looking for a Director of Marketing. You will bring your thought leadership, insights, relationship building, and creativity to design, implement, and oversee our company?s marketing strategy. Working with our Sales and Client Services teams, you will plan and coordinate marketing efforts, communicate marketing plans with stakeholders, and organize major events, including conferences and trade shows. This is a strategic and tactical opportunity to introduce best-in-class practices,and innovative approaches that make a measurable impact on our company?s brand and market share.

How you will make an impact: You will build our strategy to increase our brand awareness and market positioning. Overseeing the development, optimization, and execution of our marketing plan, you will:

  • Execute the strategy and direct the team. You will develop and manage advertising campaigns. You will plan, coordinate, and contribute to marketing projects from end to end. You will create engaging materials describing our offerings. You will oversee social media marketing strategy and content marketing.
  • Collaborate within and across teams. You will ensure clear communication of the marketing plan. You will work with sales leaders to support lead generation, and develop pricing strategies to maximize profits and market share while balancing customer satisfaction. You will develop promotions with our Growth and Experience teams.
  • Market research and growth. You will investigate demand for our products and services compared to competitors? offerings. You will identify potential customers, recommend target markets, and grow our exposure through organizing company conferences, trade shows, and major events.

What you bring:
  • Marketing expertise. You have progressive experience and growth in Marketing, from content creation to strategic campaign execution and you may be coming from an agency or consulting environment. You have worked across the full cycle from idea to roll out to KPI measurement, applying insights and experience to successfully grow a company?s reach and market share. You have experience with digital marketing forms such as social media marketing, content marketing, and SEO.
  • Project management. You can manage multiple marketing projects, campaigns, and events from end to end, including detailed project planning, resource allocation, balancing the budget, and all related logistics and communications. You can set, measure, and present return-on-investment and profit-loss projections. You can balance competing priorities, switch focus as needed, and manage all of the details.
  • Interpersonal skills. You have exceptional communication skills, including the confidence to make presentations at the leadership level. You can foster relationships and manage stakeholders, building trust and influencing decisions. You can lead and mobilize the work of a team. You operate with integrity and hold yourself and others up to a high work ethic. You have a deep appreciation for diverse opinions and backgrounds.
