Our client is an international Family Office with diverse and well-established foundations and lines of business. To support their teams and their various local and international projects, they are looking to hire a Director of Legal Affairs.Reporting to the President of the Family Office, you will manage the legal function and advise management, the business, and philanthropic units on all legal issues affecting them, whether related to matters spanning commercial, corporate and transactional law, real estate, charitable matters, international law, etc. On a day-to-day basis, you will review and negotiate a variety of contracts relating to various services, partnerships, investments and financing, acquisitions, etc. You will also become familiar with the legal issues inherent in the philanthropic field, including donations, tax issues and compliance. You will also act as corporate secretary to the entities and occasionally provide legal support to the family. You will frequently work with external counsel of your choice in the relevant jurisdictions, and will supervise a paralegal and an assistant.Are you curious by nature and enjoy learning new things every day?
