POSITION
This individual will be assisting a group of businesses to design, implement and maintain solutions to comply with Jonas security requirements, improve overall IT efficiencies and enhance the employee experience. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail and financial awareness coupled with a solid understanding of IT security and infrastructure. Excellent communication abilities and outstanding organizational skills are essential. This role offers the chance to collaboratively develop efficient IT security postures across the portfolio and oversight in a dynamic, fast-paced, and continuously evolving environment characterized by frequent acquisitions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic PlanningAssist Group Leaders, Business Unit Leaders, and IT staff in understanding and responding to security audit failures reported by auditors.
Work with various stakeholders to identify information asset owners to classify data and systems as part of a control framework implementation (NIST).
Recommend, coordinate and implement technical controls to support and enforce defined security policies.
Work with the Group Leaders to develop information security program budget projections based on short and long-term goals and objectives.
Project LeadershipManage and coordinate operational components of incident management, including detection, response, and reporting.
Serve as designated member of the Jonas IT Steering Committee (ITSC).
Oversee security projects at a portfolio and business unit level and provide expert guidance on security matters for other IT projects being executed by individual business units within the portfolio
Provide security communication, awareness, and training for audiences, which may range from senior leaders to field staff.
Provide support and guidance for legal and regulatory compliance efforts, including audit support.
Systems OversightWork as a liaison with vendors to establish mutually acceptable contracts and service-level agreements.
Coordinate, measure, and report on the technical aspects of security management.
Manage production issues and incidents and participate in problem and change management forums.
Ensure all audit trails, system logs and other monitoring data sources at the business unit level are reviewed on a scheduled basis and are compliant with policies and audit requirements.
Manage outsourced vendors that provide information security functions for compliance with contracted service-level agreements.
Track and report on AI usage across companies to ensure compliance with security protocols and ethical guidelines.
M&A Due DiligenceAssist in the M&A due diligence process to assess IT and cybersecurity posture and the onboarding of newly acquired businesses to ensure IT structure and procedures comply with Jonas standards.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area
Current security certifications, including CISSP, CISA or CISM, CRISC, GIAC, or Security+ are highly desired
7+ years information technology experience
Experience in software industry
Experience in M&A Due Diligence is an asset
Excellent administrative and organizational skills with ability to adjust and respond professionally to changing priorities and ad hoc issues
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to interact with all levels of management
Excellent interpersonal relations and ability to work with others effectively in a remote team environment
