The Office is seeking a Director of Investigations and Counsel to work in all aspects of the Integrity Commissioner\xe2\x80\x99s jurisdiction: MPP Integrity, Lobbyists Registration, Expenses Review, Ministers\xe2\x80\x99 Staff Ethical Conduct, Public Service Ethics, and Disclosure of Wrongdoing. What You Will Do You will act with integrity to:
- Oversee investigations for the Office with a particular focus on lobbyist registration and disclosure of wrongdoing mandates
- Manage two investigators, which will require you to prepare investigation plans, conduct interviews, provide case-specific legal advice and guidance, and include advising on jurisdictional, evidentiary and procedural fairness issues
- Prepare investigative reports
- Participate in Office projects such as drafting annual report sections, online resources, and ethics training sessions
- Provide legal advice to the Commissioner as required
