Located among the worlds premier cities and resort destinations, each custom-designed Park Hyatt hotel combines distinct regional character with elegant brand touches.About the roleIn this Leadership Committee role, we are looking for an experienced, dynamic and creative leader who will be responsible for unfolding a guest journey of rare and intimate experiences and a dedication to ensure our purpose of care comes to life in every guest and colleague interaction.As Director of Food & Beverage you will lead and support the Food & Beverage operation in the day to day running of the business. This is a practical operational position that requires hands on approach, a good eye for detail and a high degree of creativity.Some of the responsibilities include:

  • Lead and support the Food & beverage outlets ensuring quality guest service is provided and all colleagues demonstrate a professional and customer-focused approach at all times
  • Develop systems and processes for effective communication within the Food & Beverage operation, ensuring that colleagues are consulted and involved in decision making
  • Lead and facilitate team and individual goals in consultation with team members, establish and communicate clear performance indicators, standards, strategies and individual goals.
  • Responsible for annual budget process and presentation in line with direction from the General Manager and the Director of Finance, and corporate strategic guidelines
  • Formulate the Food & Beverage marketing plan to establish a list of activities to drive revenue and guest experience
  • Salary Range: 130K - 140K
Qualifications:To be considered for this role the candidate should possess the following:
  • Relevant degree in Hospitality
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Hotel Director of Food & Beverage or similar, in a luxury setting
  • A can-do attitude and strong leadership skills
  • Highly motivated, solutions-oriented self-starter with adaptable teamwork style
  • A creative and growth set mindset
  • Financially savvy and entrepreneurial approach
