This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Director of finance who is looking for a new challenge!

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Located in the heart of downtown Vancouver, our client has continued to dominate the real estate and construction industry for the past 50 years! In addition, they have also expanded their business to industries like renewable energy, properties, tourist attraction and restaurants. Currently, they are looking to add a Director, Finance, to their team! The ideal candidate is a designated CPA and has 7+ years of relevant experience

ABOUT THE POSITION

Reporting to the VP, Finance, the director of finance will be responsible for but not limited too:

• Support the VP, finance on financial and operations matter and lead the property finance team.
• Designs, develops, deploys and reports on internal audit objectives
• Supervises and reviews the completion of monthly reconciliations
• Provides treasury management and cash flow analysis
• Manage insurance coverage for the organization and negotiate with banks for financial services.
• Develops, implements, and ensures compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures
• Provide treasury management and cashflow analysis.
• Perform due diligence on acquisitions of major projects.
• Research and draft applicable memos.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Salary: $150,000 to $170,000
• Discretionary bonus
• Extended health and dental
• 3 weeks vacation

REQUIREMENTS

• Designated CPA
• 7+ years of accounting experience
• Experience working in both public practice and industry accounting
