Robert Half is looking for a Director of Finance to join our consumer products client! The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, management, technology, analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills as part of the management team. What you get to do every day

- Comply with all budgetary reporting requirements, including local, state, and federal

- Create and manage five-year business plans along with department managers

- Hire, train, and retain finance staff

- Analyze and monitor forecasting and budgeting models

- Develop financial analysis prior to contract negotiations and product investment decisions

- Manage the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts

- Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget

- Design, establish, and maintain an organizational structure to effectively accomplish the departments goals and objectives

- Assist in establishing short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures

- Direct all financial reporting preparation

- Supervise risk and insurance management

- Take the lead on all financial and accounting operations

- Supervise financial planning and budget management functions

- Decide on benchmarks for comparing the operating and financial performance

Requirements

- CPA designation is required

- Prior experience working in Public Accounting responsible for both Audit and Tax followed by a career working in industry is required.

- Prior experience working in an ecommerce company is highly preferred

- Experience working in a multi location and multi currency company is required

- 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience

- Experience with multiple financial and accounting reporting systems

- High analytical and extremely detailed

- Experience with higher level functionality in technology and systems

- A proven track record when it comes to leadership and critical thinking
