Position Overview

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional in structural civil engineering who is ready to take on a senior leadership role with clear succession potential.
Our client is seeking a leader who can combine technical expertise with strong operational oversight, budgeting skills, and team mentorship. The successful candidate will not only guide engineering projects but also play a key role in shaping the future direction of the firm. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical oversight on structural civil engineering projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and quality standards.
  • Lead and mentor a small but skilled team of engineers and technical staff.
  • Oversee financial aspects of the firm, including operational budgets, forecasting, and project costing.
  • Collaborate with leadership to support strategic planning, succession, and long-term business growth.
  • Contribute to client relations by maintaining trust, delivering high-quality service, and fostering lasting partnerships.
  • Support the integration of values-driven leadership into daily operations, emphasizing service, accountability, and community engagement.
Requirements
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation with 5-10 years of progressive experience in structural civil engineering.
  • Proven background in project management, operations, and budgeting.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop junior staff.
  • Demonstrated commitment to integrity, service, and community values.
