Summary



We are seeking a Director of Cultivation will be responsible for overseeing all cultivation responsibilities of the company, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. This role will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and will play a critical role in driving the company's growth and success.

Responsibilities



Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize production, increase efficiency, and maximize profitability. Manage and develop a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration. Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop and execute business development strategies. Prepare and present regular operational reports to the CEO, including key performance indicators and recommendations for improvement. Monitor and control operational expenses, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements. Maintain a safe and secure work environment by implementing and enforcing safety protocols and procedures. Manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and service providers, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. Stay current with industry trends and advancements and identify opportunities for innovation and growth. Negotiate contracts with venders as required to insure optimal value and price on all goods and services in the interest of the company. Standardize logistics process and scheduling to provide visibility and structure to facility operations and resources. Develop utilities and processes to increase visibility and efficiency among staff and logistics contractors. Standardize the sanitation team and process to ensure communication with maintenance and cultivation and compliance with facility standards and practices. Build out processes and resources to aid staff in efficient and effective sanitation. Support and develop the transition of CPG for MV consumer products and contract manufacturing. Communicate with key stakeholders on both consumer and contract sides to implement an efficient manufacturing process and provide visibility to all parties. Monitor and contribute to oversight of all site security measures and systems. Provide support for remote monitoring and system maintenance to ensure compliance and maintain site security measures. Develop and advise on Health and Safety practices and provide training where necessary. Work closely with the CEO to develop and execute the company's long-term strategic vision.

Experience / Education



Must: Proven experience managing large-scale indoor cannabis cultivation operations (greenhouse experience will not suffice). Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to mentor and guide a young team. Hands-on experience with all aspects of the cultivation process, including post-harvest activities. Familiarity with EU-GMP standards and regulatory compliance in the cannabis industry. Technical proficiency with ERP systems and their integration into cultivation workflows. Ability to take ownership of the cultivation department, drive results, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
