Adeptus Marketing is seeking a Director of Creative Strategy to lead our creative engine and inspire the next wave of brand and campaign excellence. This is not your average Creative Director role, it's a balanced blend of leadership, mentorship, strategic thinking, and process design.
You'll work alongside strategists, creatives, and marketers to build work that's as smart as it is beautiful, and you'll help shape the systems that make that work repeatable, scalable, and exciting to deliver.

You will:
Lead campaign concepting, creative strategy, and ideation sessions
Work closely with Strategists and Account Managers to balance outstanding creative, client expectations, timelines, and budgets
Art direct designers and copywriters and support our talent with mentorship and structure
Develop and evolve our internal creative process and quality control systems
Facilitate client-facing strategy sessions and workshops
Align brand storytelling across channels with insight-driven thinking
Art direct across digital, print, video, and social
Champion excellence in every creative deliverable
Be a relational integrator across teams, not a silo-builder or spotlight-seeker
Define and refine creative processes that keep us efficient and inspired

Most of our work happens during regular business hours. You can't work from 4 am - 8 am and be done every day. There are a few meetings set in relative stone (though if you have to miss one, we'll take notes so you can catch up later), but generally speaking, you set your own schedule. The coffee is great, and the people are even better. Our team makes it a priority to work together in-person on Wednesdays and in this role you should expect to be in-person more often, often being the one to pull the introverts out of their home offices and shells to ensure smooth creative collaboration.

Requirements:
8+ years in creative leadership roles (agency or in-house)
Proven portfolio of campaigns with multi-platform execution
Expert-level copywriting and art direction chops
Track record of leading and growing creative teams
Skilled facilitator and workshop leader
Love process as much as you love a big idea
You understand how hard it is to be an account manager and know how to support the client liason team
Can spot and sell a strong concept across any platform
Strategic thinker who can define, sell, and scale ideas
Living in Regina, or a reasonable commutable distance to Regina
If you're a teacher, a strategic thinker, a copywriting savant, and a calm, creative leader, we want to meet you.
Applicants must have a valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle, or an available means of personal transportation, must live in Regina (or really close to the Queen City), must be eligible to work in Canada, and must be able to laugh at themselves. This role is a part-time contractor - approx 15-30 hours per week.
