The District of Taylor is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to fill the position of Director of Corporate Services. Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, the Director of Corporate Services is responsible for ensuring the statutory corporate responsibilities of the Corporate Officer and Financial Officer as outlined in the Community Charter are fulfilled. This position directly supervises the work of the Corporate Services department, which encompasses the Financial Services and Legislative Services departments, and serves as the main point of contact for Library relations.



The ideal candidate will have strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, a degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field. A recognised Accounting designation in good standing is required. A minimum of 2-3 years of recent, related experience in local government, along with at least 5 years of progressive leadership experience, is required. A Local Government Administration Certificate would be considered an asset, as would prior managerial experience in a municipal government environment.



The incumbent will be required to maintain a valid BC Driver's License and a clean criminal record check.



The successful applicant can expect to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a one-hour break. The annual wage rate for this position is $88,640 to $110,800, determined based on a combination of relevant education and experience. This position also includes an exceptional benefit package.
