We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Director of Corporate Partnerships and Development. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for securing strategic sponsorships, corporate donations, and large-scale philanthropic relationships for Sai Dham Canada. This individual serves as the primary external representative to the corporate sector, driving revenue growth and significantly strengthening Sai Dham's brand within the Canadian business community. We are seeking a professional with strong corporate executive experience and a proven track record in closing major fundraising deals and managing key accounts.
Duties
Lead the research, qualification, and acquisition of new, high-value corporate sponsors and major donors at regional (GTA) and national levels.
Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline of business development opportunities, ensuring a consistent flow of both short-term and long-term revenue.
Design compelling proposals and negotiate strategic sponsorship and partnership agreements that align Sai Dham's mission with the Corporate Social Responsibility objectives of potential partners.
Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing executives to ensure donor retention, partnership satisfaction, and growth of existing contributions.
Collaborate closely with the marketing team to create compelling fundraising collateral, impact reports, and presentations for social investors.
Effectively communicate the value and measurable impact of Sai Dham's programs to corporate audiences.
Plan and execute key fundraising events and networking gatherings targeted specifically at the Canadian business community.
Establish aggressive but achievable annual fundraising targets and assume direct responsibility for meeting and exceeding these goals.
Ensure all fundraising activities and partnership agreements comply with Canadian charity regulations and organizational policies.
Provide regular, concise reporting on fundraising progress and key metrics to the Director and/or Board of Directors.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in business development, large-scale fundraising, corporate sales, or key account management, with a clear focus on the corporate or NGO sectors.
Demonstrated history of success in a corporate environment, with the ability to confidently communicate and negotiate with C-level executives.
Native Canadian background, demonstrable knowledge of the Canadian business and philanthropic landscape (key requirement).
Strong understanding of marketing principles and the ability to craft compelling, impact-driven narratives that motivate social investment.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to be persuasive and build trust quickly.
