Overview


Join our dynamic team as the Director of Construction, where you will lead and inspire a talented group of professionals in delivering exceptional construction projects. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of construction management, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your expertise in construction estimating, quality control, and project management will be essential as you drive success across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities



Lead and manage modular residential construction projects from conception to completion. Oversee factory-built module production and coordinate on-site assembly and installation. Ensure all projects meet Ontario Building Code and CSA A277 standards for factory built buildings. Collaborate with architects, engineers, municipal officials, and internal teams to streamline project delivery. Implement quality control and safety protocols across all phases of construction. Develop and manage construction schedules, budgets, and resource plans. Mentor and lead project managers, site supervisors and technical staff in their professional development and growth.

Qualifications



Experience in residential or modular construction, including leadership roles. Strong understanding of residential building systems, off-site construction, and structural design. Proven track record delivering residential projects on time and within budget. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem solving skills.

Preferred qualifications



Extensive knowledge of construction estimating processes. Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario with authority to seal structural documents is preferred however not required. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is preferred however not required.
