Director of Care (DOC)

to lead their clinical team with excellence, integrity, and vision.


As the DOC, you'll play a vital leadership role--overseeing all aspects of resident care, mentoring nursing staff, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance are met. This is your chance to bring innovation, empathy, and leadership together in a meaningful way.

Key Responsibilities



Provide strategic and operational leadership for all nursing and clinical programs. Ensure compliance with provincial standards, legislation, and best practice guidelines. Lead, mentor, and support the nursing team to promote professional growth and collaboration. Oversee resident assessments, care planning, and documentation to maintain exceptional standards of care. Build positive relationships with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Contribute to a culture of safety, respect, and resident-centered care. Participate in strategic planning, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications



Registered Nurse (RN)

in good standing with the

College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM)

. Minimum

3-5 years of progressive leadership experience

in long-term care or healthcare management. Strong understanding of

Manitoba LTC standards, accreditation, and quality systems

. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. A passion for fostering teamwork, excellence, and compassionate care.
