Workplace Type: Remote with Travel/External EngagementsJob Purpose:We are seeking a Director of Campaign Strategy to join our dynamic Marketing unit. This executive role is pivotal in driving our mission forward by enhancing our visibility, engaging our supporter base, and generating leads and new supporters through innovative campaign strategies. The Director of Campaign Strategy will spearhead our efforts in raising awareness, executing appeals, and activating new supporters while also playing a crucial role in the development and planning of our campaign platforms for the coming years.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Strategy Development: Lead the strategic planning and execution of comprehensive marketing campaigns aimed at driving traffic to our digital properties, increasing awareness, and driving supporters to our digital product offerings.
  • Appeals and Supporter Engagement: Design and implement targeted communication strategies to engage our existing base of supporters, encouraging further support and involvement in various areas of our mission to achieve engagement and revenue goals.
  • Lead Generation and Activations: Develop and oversee lead generation activities to attract and activate new supporters, using a mix of innovative approaches and tested methodologies.
  • Campaign Platform Planning: Take charge of the development and future planning of our campaign platforms, ensuring a cohesive and impactful approach to our marketing efforts over the next several years.
  • Agency Management: Work closely with our agency of record, external partners, and internal teams to ensure successful development and execution of campaign strategies, maintaining a consistent and compelling brand, brand presence and messaging across all channels.
  • Performance Analysis: Implement robust metrics and analytics to measure campaign performance, using data to inform future strategies and optimize ongoing efforts.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other directors and teams within the marketing unit to ensure alignment across all initiatives while respecting the delineation of responsibilities within the team.
  • Key performance indicators: Leads, Brand Awareness, Donation Intent, Conversion, and Revenue.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
  • Experience: Proven track record of developing and leading successful marketing campaigns with a strong digital component. Experience in a charity or non-profit organization is a plus.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic planning skills with the ability to develop comprehensive, multi-channel campaign strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and support.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing cross-functional teams and coordinating with external agencies. Strong collaborator with the ability to work effectively across different areas of the marketing function.
  • Eye for Detail: A passion and skill for excellence in execution across multiple campaigns, products and channels.
  • Customer Journey Mapping and Automation: Experience with understanding, defining, and implementing customer journey maps; implementation of experience mapping across marketing automation systems is an asset.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficient in analyzing campaign performance data to drive decisions and improve outcomes. Familiarity with marketing analytics tools and platforms.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate campaign strategies and results to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Innovation: A creative and innovative mindset with a passion for utilizing digital platforms and tools to achieve marketing objectives.
  • Education: A bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. A master\xe2\x80\x99s degree or professional certifications in marketing or digital strategy are advantageous.
