This is an opportunity for an exceptional Director, Network in Managed Services, to join our team and lead our efforts in delivering innovative and cost-effective network solutions to our clients. As the Director, Network within Bell Canada\xe2\x80\x99s Network and Technology Services (NTS) team, you will be responsible for managing networking (IP and security) and telephony networks (including contact centers solutions) on behalf of our customers nationally. You will lead a team of talented professionals responsible for ensuring the robustness, scalability, ongoing transformation, and automation of our network infrastructure while maintaining high standards of telemetry and proactive support for our managed services contracts.Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the management of Networking and telephony networks as part of managed services contracts for our customers, ensuring high standards of telemetry and proactive support
  • Foster close collaboration with the Bell Business Markets (BBM) team, including the account team, incident team, and professional services team, to meet customer needs effectively
  • Support and participate in the Bell Business Markets (BBM) digital transformation program, aligning managed services with evolving technology and customer expectations
  • Design, delivery and implementation of automation and AI Ops solutions
  • Network planning and capacity management
  • Day to day 24x7 operational support for service platforms and customers
  • Onboarding new customers
  • Network and customer translations design
  • Incident and performance management
  • Vendor management
  • Investment and operational budget management
  • Continuous improvement program management
  • Talent management (attract, retain and develop)
Critical Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Telecommunications, Engineering, Computer Science)
  • Proven leadership experience in network engineering, managed services or operations within the telecommunications industry
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills required for leading a large team (400+) with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of telecommunications technology and best practices
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated success in driving network simplification and automation initiatives
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
  • Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and service quality
  • Bilingualism would be an asset
