Job Description

:
Our client is seeking an experienced facilities leader to oversee a national portfolio of sites across Canada. This role is responsible for strategic planning, operational excellence, and the overall management of facilities, construction, security, and real estate support.
Responsibilities:
Lead facilities operations across a multi-site national network (offices, operational sites, distribution, etc.).
Develop and manage policies, budgets, capital plans, and operational standards.
Oversee vendors, contractors, and regulatory relationships.
Partner on real estate activities including lease renewals, renovations, and construction projects.
Lead and develop a high-performing facilities team.
Support space planning, design, security programs, and business continuity initiatives.
Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
10+ years of progressive facilities management experience, including leadership in multi-site environments.
Experience in complex operational industries (e.g., healthcare, logistics, manufacturing, labs, or similar) is an asset.
Background in construction and/or real estate preferred.
Strong vendor management and contract negotiation skills.
