GENERAL FUNCTION

The Director of Marketing Operations will oversee and optimize the marketing operations for the organization and play a crucial role in driving the success of our marketing initiatives. The Director will provide strategic direction of marketing campaigns, managing marketing technology & systems, and optimizing marketing operations to achieve operational excellence. The incumbent will lead a small team of skilled marketing associates who are focused on acquiring new customers for the suite of brands & products offered at MFSG, as well as maintaining customer engagement.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITES

  • Collaborate with retail & product leadership to uncover insights for developing marketing strategies for existing and new products.
  • Spearhead the execution of marketing campaigns, including test and control group segmentation, testing, tracking, results reporting, analyses, and recommendations.
  • Manage conception, development, and implementation of marketing plans and strategy, product concepts, and promotional programs to drive customer interest and sales.
  • Identify short- and long-term scheduling and resource needs, including development and management of annual marketing budget, profit-and-loss projections, and expenditures.
  • Understand key performance metrics and tracking tools for market research, forecasts, competitor analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends, and translate results into actionable insights for marketing team.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer preferences, market trends, and competitive landscape in the retail sector. Utilize data and insights to inform marketing strategies, identify opportunities, and optimize campaign performance.
  • Focus on enhancing the in-store experience for customers by developing and implementing effective merchandising strategies, promotions, and sales programs.
  • Collaborate with retail operations teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and optimal customer engagement within the physical retail locations.
  • Work closely with retail operations teams to align marketing initiatives with retail sales goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate on promotional activities, sales events, and customer experience enhancements to drive foot traffic, increase sales, and improve overall customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure all retail marketing activities adhere to applicable regulatory guidelines, industry standards, and legal requirements, particularly in the financial services sector. Stay updated on relevant regulations and industry best practices.
  • Establish a workflow for requesting, creating, editing, publishing, and retiring content.
Qualifications

EDUCATION
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in marketing or business required.
EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum 7-10 years marketing experience, preferably in retail centric organizations
  • Minimum 5 years in an operations management function
  • Proficiency with content management systems, and CRM\xe2\x80\x99s
  • Ability to drive change management and influence key stakeholders in the organization.
  • Experience leading a team in a marketing or operations function.
SKILLS
  • Successful track record in senior marketing role and campaign creation
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Experience in digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
  • Proven ability to plan and manage budgets.
