Develop communication strategies Direct the development and maintenance of an organization's Internet and intranet sites Direct the marketing strategies of establishments Evaluate an organization's Internet presence Evaluate communication strategies and programs Implement communication strategies and programs Oversee the preparation of written material for website content Supervise staff Train staff Develop promotional materials Hire, train, direct and motivate staff Plan and control budget and expenditures Write and edit press releases, newsletter and communications materials Act as spokesperson for an organization Assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters and other material Co-ordinate special publicity events and promotions Initiate and maintain contact with the media Prepare sports, literary, performance or other contracts Maintain and manage digital database Copywrite Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
